Jerry buys a new couch for his apartment and gives his old one to Elaine. Elaine falls in love with the moving man. George's girlfriend talks him in to joining a book club, but he fails to read Breakfast at Tiffany's and decides to rent the movie instead. Kramer goes into business with Poppie creating a restaurant to make your own pizza pie. Jerry and Elaine go to Poppie's current restaurant at Kramer's insistance, but Elaine causes an uproar when she decides to leave because Poppie is Pro-Life.
Elaine later finds out that her boyfriend is Pro-Life and has to leave him as well. Poppie has to go into the hospital because Elaine disturbed his gastrointestinal disorder. Later, Poppie comes over to Jerry's so Jerry can pay him for the meal they walked out on and Poppie pees on Jerry's couch. This leads Jerry to have to get the couch back from Elaine. Kramer and Poppie end up having belief differences and the restaurant doesn't work.
