Elaine is frustrated with the guy running the mailroom at J. Peterman and tries to fire him but is intimidated by him and instead promotes him. Unfortunately, he's highly unqualified for this position and the other people quit in protest. Kramer throws a party for a large group of Jewish singles, but doesn't know how to cook for that many people. Frank had a bad experience cooking in the military, but agrees to do it anyway.
Jerry is frustrated when he finds out that his girlfriend's mentor is dating Kenny Bania. This leads him to start mentoring Bania on his comedy routine. George has to give a presentation on Risk Management, but doesn't know anything about the subject.
