In the name of love

Today marks the 40th Anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. I think sometimes people underestimate the impact of what Martin Luther King Jr. did, I think some people think that all he was doing was achieving equality for Blacks. For the most part, yes, that's what his goal was. But I think his real goal was for us to view EVERYONE the same way. Without prejudice, without respect to race, sex, or social standing, the way God views us.

Today we remember him. As U2 wrote in their famous song "Pride (In the Name of Love)"

Early Morning April 4th

Shots ring out in the Memphis sky

FREE AT LAST!

They took your life

They could not take your pride!
