The Fix-Up (Ep. 317)

Jerry and Elaine decide to fix up their lonely and desperate friends George and Cynthia. They agree to tell each other every detail that they learn from George and Cynthia and immediately set out to convince them that it's a good idea. It takes some work, but after a good phone call between George and Cynthia they set up a date. George is telling Jerry and Elaine about the great conversation when Kramer comes in. He tells them that his friend, Bob Sacamano, got a job working at a condom factory and he got free samples. He tells Elaine, "Here Elaine, take half a bag." She says, "What do I look like? A hooker?" George decides to take one because "you never know."

Turns out he did need it because at the end of his date, him and Cynthia end up having sex in his kitchen. He calls and tells Jerry and tells him not to tell Elaine and Cynthia tells Elaine not to tell Jerry. Neither Jerry or Elaine tells the other. The next day, Cynthia tells Elaine that she's missed her period and that she's never late. Kramer also comes in a tells Jerry that the condoms were defective. George finds all this out when he walks in on an argument that Jerry and Elaine are having with her telling him that Cynthia is pregnant. George is actually not upset, but happy that he is able to actually father a child. He goes to Cynthia's house and tells her that he will be there for her to support her in any way necessary, but she tells him she got her period.

Grade: B+ (Some good laughs, but still ranks pretty low on my list)
