The Good Samaritan (Ep. 319)

Jerry witnesses a person hit a parked car and drive off. He follows the person to confront them, but can't confront her because it's a woman that he's attracted to. He ends up asking her out and they start dating. He tells Elaine that he followed the person into Queens and that it was a guy and they got into a shoving match.

Elaine wants Jerry to go to dinner with her with a couple friend of hers, but he's got a date with the hit and run woman. George agrees to go with her so that she doesn't have to suffer through their "wonderful" stories of being married by herself. The wife sneezes and after the husband doesn't respond, George says, "God bless you." The husband gets offended that George said it instead of letting him say it, and they start fighting.

Jerry finds out from Kramer that the person who's car got hit is Becky Gelky, a girl that Jerry has been attracted to for some time, but hasn't had the nerve to talk to. He goes to tell her that he is going to find the person that hit her car. He confronts his girlfriend about hitting that car, but she won't admit to it and won't pay for it. He tells Becky that he will pay for it and get the person to pay him back, but this gives Becky the impression that he was actually the one who hit the car.

George ends up getting a call from the wife asking him to meet her and they end up sleeping together. This makes the husband threaten to "sew [George's] ass to his face." Also, Kramer ends up getting a date with Becky Gelky, but when he goes to her house she has Entertainment Tonight on and he starts have seizures because of the sound of Mary Hart's voice.

Interesting quote: "You know if you want to make a person feel better after they sneeze you shouldn't say, 'God Bless You' you should say, 'You're soooo good looking'."

Grade: B- (Decently funny episode)
