George goes into business selling shoes that improve vertical leap with a guy who refers to himself in third person named Jimmy. Someone is stealing equipment from the Yankees and George is suspected because he is sweating from previously working out. Jerry notices that Tim Whatley has Penthouse magazines in his waiting area and thinks suspicious things are going on while he's gassed up.
Kramer is mistaken for an Able Mentally Challenged Adult when he's spotted on the street wearing the silly looking shoes that George and Jimmy are selling and is slurring his speech from the Novocaine he got at the dentist office. He's invited to sit at the head of the table of the AMCA benefit with Mel Torme (the velvet fog). Elaine has tickets for the event and mistakenly asks Jimmy because she thinks he's talking about someone else when he's talking in third person.
