The Scofflaw (Ep. 613)

George finds out that, Gary, a mutual friend of his and Jerry's had cancer, but is upset because he didn't find out until after the fact because Gary couldn't trust him with the information.  To make up for it Gary tells him that he didn't really have cancer, but that shouldn't tell anyone.  Jerry drags it out of him and then is upset because he was so nice to Gary.  George contemplates buying a toupee.

Kramer realizes that Newman is a scofflaw that has been on the run for 16 years, so he convinces him to pay up on his parking tickets.  He does and as a consequence has to keep his car in a private lot and pay for the parking himself.  Elaine battles with Jake Jarmel over who has the upper hand and she eventually wins when she finds a pair of glasses that Jake thinks only he has.

Interesting quote:
"I've been living a lie." - Gary
"Just one?  I'm living like twenty." - George

Grade: B+ (Newman as the white whale is great)
