Jerry lands a date with Miss Rhode Island, but needs a chaperone to replace hers. He ends up getting Kramer to be the chaperone for their date, but he ends up taking control and becoming her coach for the Miss America pageant. Later Jerry accidently kills Miss Rhode Island's doves for her magic act the night before the pageant and her routine is ruined.
George convinces the Yankees to go with cotton uniforms over their polyester uniforms. It all goes well the first night, but the second night the uniforms are shrunken up and they can play well. Elaine lands a job with Mr. Pitt being his personal assistant.
