Jerry is dating Jodi, a masseuse, but can't get her to give him a massage. George is back dating Karen from The Mango episode and things are going great except for the fact that he's obsessing over the fact that Jodi doesn't like him. This eventually brings an end to their relationship, again. Elaine is dating a guy by the name of Joel Rifkin, who shares his name with a serial killer at the time. She constantly gets made fun of, but he doesn't see it as being that big of a deal until he is paged while at the NY Giants game.
Interesting fact: Elaine suggests to Joel that he change his name to avoid being associated with a serial killer. One of the names she suggests is OJ. Less than one year later was when OJ Simpson was arrested for murdering his ex-wife and her boyfriend.
