Jerry gets heckled by Kramer's girlfriend, Toby, at a show that he's being reviewed for and he does a bad job, consequently getting a bad review. To get back at her, he goes down to her work, which happens to be Elaine's as well, and heckles her. This causes her to run out of the office and injure herself, losing her pinky toe. Kramer later finds the toe and boards a bus to take it to the hospital. In the process he fights off a mugger and drives the bus to the hospital.
George is dating a girl with a kid and during the kid's birthday party a fire breaks out in the kitchen and in his haste he shoves kids and the elderly aside to get out of the apartment. Toby ends up coming back to work and getting a promotion over Elaine because of her accident. Jerry convinces the reviewer to give him another chance, but it's ruined also when George panics at the sight of a prop gun.
