Duke Football!

Went to the game on Saturday as I said earlier. It was pretty fun and a decent game.

• Coach Cutcliff is trying to create an atmosphere and generate buzz within the city. Last week the school gave tickets to all the Duke University staff. He figures if he can get 30,000 people to show up to watch them when they're not so good, that they'll be more than glad to show up when they are good.
• Duke lost, but they played much better than any other time I've seen them in the last decade or so. I like the running game, and the passing game is sure to get better as the season progresses.
• Duke may lose many games this year, but I don't think they'll be a pushover, especially in the All Crappy Conference.
