The Lip Reader (Ep. 506)

Jerry and George are at the US Open and Jerry is attracted to the lineswoman and wants to ask her out. He approaches her and thinks she is ignoring her, but finds out she is deaf instead. George indulges himself in an ice cream sundae and lands himself on television. He later believes this is the reason for him being dumped by his girlfriend. Elaine instead of having to talk to the driver of the company car fleet pretends she is deaf, but he finds out and is offended.

While out to dinner with Jerry and his new girlfriend, George gets the idea to have her come to a party with them to read his ex-girlfriend's lips to find out why she broke up with him. She agrees, but at the party she mistranslates "we could sweep together" for "we could sleep together" and it causes George to confront and make a fool of himself. Kramer aspires to be a ball-"boy" at the US Open and lands the job. Sadly, it's short lived when he goes after a ball and collides with Monica Seles.
